The Freshstatus-Freshping integration helps you update the staus of your services automatically. It can and also create real-time incidents in Freshstatus whenever a Check goes down or the performance of the Check degrades.

Setting up the Freshping Integration

To integrate Freshstatus with Freshping follow the steps mentioned below in your Freshstatus account;

  1. Login to your Freshstatus account 
  2. Navigate to Settings > Integrations
  3. Choose the Connect button against Freshping 
  4. Provide the Freshping URL and Freshping API Key and click "Authorize". That's it, you are into creating the Rules.

Note: You need "Freshping Account URL" and "Freshping API Key" in addition to setting up a Webhook in your Freshping account.


Where can I find my Freshping account domain?

  1. Login to your Freshping account
  2. Navigate to Settings > Account Settings in your Freshping account, where you can find your Freshping account domain name or in short Freshping URL


Where can I find my Freshping API key?

  1. Login to your Freshping account
  2. Navigate to Settings > Account Settings 
  3. Your API key can be found under 'Your API key'



How to configure a Webhook in Freshping

  1. Login to your Freshping account
  2. Navigate to Settings > Integration 
  3. In the Webhook section, click '+Create integration'
  4. Paste the Webhook URL copied from Freshstatus and click on 'Create'



How to configure rules

You can add your own rules to create incidents in Freshstatus when a Freshping check goes down or degrades. 

  • Go to Settings > Integrations > Freshping
  • Click on '+ New rule' to add rules and set up the integration




  • Clicking '+New rule' opens 'Rule information'
  • You can do the following here:
    • Give your rule and name
    • Specify the conditions to run the rule under 'Condition'
    • Under 'Action,' configure incident details like:
      • Title and description of the incident
      • Source from which the incident was identified
      • The service components that should be updated their status
      • Whether to notify customers or not
      • Conditions for resolution



Once the rules are created Freshstatus automatically creates an incident when a Freshping check goes down or degrades. 


How to temporarily disable or turn off the rule

  • Log in to Freshstatus
  • Navigate to Settings > Integrations
  • Open the menu in the Freshping section (represented by three vertical dots) and click 'View rules'
  • Toggle the switch to enable or disable the rule
