DKIM or DomainKeys Identified Mail is an extra layer of authentication for emails that help improve delivery and also protects senders and recipients from spam, spoofing, and phishing.
To configure DKIM in Freshstatus:
1. Go to Settings > Email Settings and click on the DKIM settings tab
2. You will need to have set up a 'Send from' email ID to proceed. Click here to learn how
3. Once your 'Send from' email ID has been verified, the entries shown in the image below are auto-created. Add them to your domain settings
4. Once added, click the 'Verify' button. If the CNAME values have been successfully added, you will see the green 'Verified' badge. Otherwise, they will read 'Pending.'
Note: For step 3 you will need to add four separate CNAME records and add the string under 'Host value' into the 'Host/Name/Alias' field and the string under 'Data' into the 'Points to' field.
