Status embeds provide an easy way for customers to understand the status of your services. They also offer easy access to your status page. Embedding your status in web apps, sites, portals, or forms will increase the visibility into your system status.

Freshstatus offers staus embeds in the form of a badge and as a banner, labeled in Freshstatus as 'Alert Widget.'

Setting up the Alert Widget

1. Navigate to Status embed> Alert Widget and click on 'Unlock Alert Widget for free.' This will take you to a short survey that needs to be completed to enable the feature.

Note: Your request might take few days to get processed. 

2. Once we have enabled the widget for your account, click on '+ New Alert Widget'

3. Add a name, set it up the way you want it to look, and hit 'Save Changes'

4. Your Alert Widget is ready to be embedded in your sites.

Note: Alert widgets will be displayed only when an incident or a maintenance window is active.
